Ubuntu Canarias takes part in the «Ellas Conectan Empresas» meeting at ECCA Social
Published: 14 October 2026
A morning to learn, share experiences and get to know companies first-hand, at a meeting designed to bring the world of work closer to women looking for a job.
On 14 October, the Ubuntu Canarias team attended the «Ellas Conectan Empresas» (Women Connect Companies) meeting, held at ECCA Social in Escaleritas, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
It was a chance to hear first-hand what companies are looking for, exchange experiences with other organisations and professionals, and discover new ways into employment for the women we support.
For us, spaces like this matter because they build bridges between people looking for work and those offering opportunities. Everything we learn there goes into our day-to-day work: job guidance, the weekly job directory and the Ubuntu Empleo group.
Thank you to ECCA Social for hosting us and to everyone who made this meeting possible.
To everyone looking for a job: we are still by your side.
